Sara Doherty, Franklin High School Graduating Senior, Wins the Knights of Columbus, Sacred Heart Council 1847, $1000 Scholarship 2019
The Knights of Columbus in Franklin have reinstituted our annual Scholarship Award for 2019 and future years. This year our council worked very hard and diligently to re-implement this value program for our parish and community. After re-creating this Scholarship program and selection process, we named a 2019 Winner...Sara Doherty.
Sara is a highly ranked student; achieved a 4.3 GPA; has worked as a Coach and Trainer with key organizations such as Best Buddies and Unified Sports; played Soccer at FHS; been a teacher in our Parish religious programs for youth and has volunteered much time in working with community events and even the Senior Center in Franklin. Sara is a “model” student and an outstanding person. We also wish to thank and acknowledge the many outstanding applicants and their tremendous accomplishments.
